Charger check · Easee

Can the Easee Core take part?

Probably not. No built-in MID meter is confirmed for the Easee Core, and for home chargers that is a requirement.

The answer

Not allowed (no MID meter)

No built-in MID metering is confirmed for the Easee Core. For home chargers the MID meter has to be inside the charger itself; a separate meter in the meter cupboard does not solve that.

Is your grid connection used for charging only? Then an exception route may apply. We assess that separately.

Reviewed on 3 October 2026. This is our assessment, not an official approval by the NEa. A suitable meter is one of the conditions for taking part.
